Emily Summar founded Parties with a Princess at just 14 years old with a dream of bringing magic and wonder to families throughout the Bowling Green, Kentucky area and beyond.

Her inspiration began after portraying a beloved princess in a junior high musical. While she enjoyed performing on stage, what impacted her most were the interactions after the show. Meeting children and adults alike who were inspired by the character showed her that storybook heroes have the power to spark imagination, confidence, and joy long after childhood.

Driven by that realization, Emily began building Parties with a Princess one character at a time while continuing her education. She expanded her cast by recruiting talented performers from local community theatre productions and Western Kentucky University, allowing the company to grow steadily over the years.

In 2016, Emily took the next step by officially establishing Parties with a Princess as a professional children's entertainment company. Today, she remains committed to providing high-quality, personalized entertainment for every event. Emily frequently appears as Fairy Godmother Emily, helping create magical memories for children and families throughout the region.

As the company continues to grow, Emily looks forward to bringing even more enchantment, imagination, and unforgettable experiences to the community for many years to come.
